Welcome to Day 2!
Congratulations for getting your blog online yesterday! If you haven’t yet, don’t fret! Just go back to Day 1 and complete the steps there.
Today we will be doing a couple of things to get your blog set up and ready to start publishing content. Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Install WordPress
In order for you to start blogging, you need to install WordPress.
WordPress (or WP) is a platform that allows you to manage your content. It is called a CMS or content management system. More than 60% of all the blogs our there run on WordPress.
Don’t worry, WordPress is free! Now let’s go ahead and install it. Watch the video below.

Step 2: Choose a theme and install it:
Once you have installed WordPress, it’s now time to choose a theme for your blog and install it. Watch the video below to learn how:

Step 3: Install the Necessary Plugins:
As we discussed in the main blogging guide, plugins are like mini-software that give you features and allow you to customize your blog without having to write code or being techy.
There are a couple of plugins that you will need to install before you start using your blog. They are all free.
To install a plugin, it’s very simple. You will follow the exact same method as you did with themes; except that we will click on “plugins” this time:
